Before and After-school program

Children from 5 to 13 years old

After-school services –7:30 am to 18:00 pm

Our before and after school program is a great service for parents and children. Parents can go to work in peace knowing that their children are well cared for and will be taken and collected from school on time. The children will have an opportunity to unwind in a relaxed, happy, safe and fun, home from home environment.

We provide healthy, nutritious, delicious meals and snacks cooked fresh from scratch every day. Our programs are child led and we have a wide range of creative and physical activities that children can tap into throughout the afternoon. We offer homework supervision which is a big plus for parents and children as it allows for a more relaxed end to the day for all.

Our after-school program provides several childcare options for parents, these include;

• After-school Care
• Full-time care

Breakfast club

At Hi-5 we recognize that an after-school service is often not enough childcare for the busy working parent. Whether you are an early starter or on shift work, where there is demand for it, Hi-5 will provide Before School Care for your child. This may start as early as 7.30am and involve breakfast and free play time for your child and on time children are taken to school.

Hour Club

This service makes life easier for parents who have two or more children in school. Some children finish school at 1:30 p.m. and others 2:30 p.m. We can pick up your child at 1:30 p.m. and they come to play with us for an hour and you can collect both at 2:30 p.m.

After-school care

Children are collected in school (1:30 or 2:30) Healthy dinner and snack are provided and their homework is supervised. After homework time children can choose if they want to take part in the planned or child-lead play. We respect the children’s wants and needs and act as partners in their care. Also, Hi-5 after school program considers that children need time for relaxation after their school day. Our classrooms have areas for relaxation and, we have an outside garden for play and physical activities.

Full-time care

Children can be dropped off at the Hi-5 each morning. Children are provided with a healthy breakfast and then taken to school. In the evening children are collected, dinner+ snacks are provided, and their homework is supervised. After homework time children can choose if they want to take part in the planned or child-lead play.
